A 12-year-old was killed Sunday afternoon in a rollover accident on Interstate 20 in Bienville Parish.

Louisiana State Police said a sport utility vehicle left the highway and crashed. It came to a stop in the median.

Troopers said the driver over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll numerous times.

The 12-year-old, who was seated in the cargo area, was ejected.

Four others suffered what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Minden Medical Center.

Killed was Tabronskian Schiele of West Monroe.
