The Caddo Parish grand jury has indicted two men on first-degree murder charges, accusing them of killing a 1-year-old child when a house was riddled with bullets in a shooting intended for an adult there.

Darrius Williams and Anthony Paul Johnson, both 18, are charged in the death of LeGary Adams. The child was lying in his playpen when 18 shots were fired into the house on Lillian Street on Aug. 30.

The shooting arose out of a grudge. Prosecutors have not disclosed details. There were three other children in the house at the time of the shooting, prosecutors said.

The grand jury also charged two men with first-degree murder in the death of a pregnant woman whose body was found floating in a pond on Shreveport's north side.

LaMondre M. Tucker, 18, and Marcus A. Taylor, 21, are charged in the death of 18-year-old Tavia Sills, a student at Southern University-Shreveport.

Tucker was the father of Sills' baby, prosecutors said. Taylor is accused of knowing what was going to happen and assisting in the murder.

Sills, who was five months pregnant, was reported missing on Sept. 9. She was last seen getting out of a car at an apartment complex in the Martin Luther King Drive area. A man was driving, police said Two fishermen found Sills' body in a pond at the end of Legardy Street.
