A Cotton Valley man is being held in Bossier Maximum Security Facility on multiple charges after his reckless driving caused a Bossier Sheriff’s Deputy to stop him.

James Edward Hudson, Sr., 57, of the 100 block of Pub Place, was taken into custody Tuesday after the vehicle he was driving crossed the fog line three times over the distance of a mile. A check revealed he was wanted on a warrant out of Springhill. Hudson was charged with improper lane use and transported to jail.

During the booking process, Hudson was searched and found to have six Lortab and five and one-half Flexeril pills in his possession. He did not have a valid prescription for the drugs. Additional charges were filed for introduction of contraband into a prison. Bond is pending.
