Temperatures exceeding 100 degrees on Monday were accompanied by high humidity across the ArkLaTex.

Swepco said usage topped out at 5 p.m., when the temperature in Shreveport was 102.

The old record was set Aug. 14, 2007 when the high temperature was 104, Swepco said.
