Shreveport police investigate homicide

An early morning homicide in shreveport has authorities looking for answers.

It happened in the 3600 block of West Canal Boulevard.

Police say a black female was found face down in the street with a gunshot wound.

She had no identification on her.

Police Chief Henry Whitehorn says they're not sure what happened, but they are questioning witnesses.
