Sheriff: Man sells stolen church computer to his grandmother

A man and his grandmother have been arrested after being caught with a laptop computer that had been stolen in a church burglary in Shreveport, Caddo Parish sheriff's deputies said.

Ronnie "Jay" Collins, 18, of the 7700 block of Womack Road, was booked for possession of stolen things.

Collins had a laptop computer that had been taken during a burglary of North Highlands Methodist Church and sold it to his grandmother for $200, Sheriff Steve Prator said.

The grandmother, Gwenda Crawford, 53, of Womack Road, was also arrested for possession of stolen things.
