Man accused of stealing $80,000 from mentally impaired victim

A Natchitoches Parish man has been arrested on charges he stole more than $80,000 from an individual who was mentally impaired.

Donnie Ray "Bozo" Black of Campti was arrested by Natchitoches city police on a charge of exploitation of the infirmed.

Police said the money was stolen over a four-year period.

Police would not disclose details of how Black knew the victim. They said the victim's caregivers filed a complaint with police after reviewing the victim's financial records.

Black was released from jail after posting $5,000 bond.
