A pedestrian was hit by four vehicles around 5:30 this evening in the 5900 block of N. Highway 1.  The victim, a man believed to be in his 50s was lying on his stomach when authorities arrived.  The man was airlifted to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.  He was wearing dark clothing which made it hard for drivers to see him.
