The crime happened yesterday around 7:30pm. Shreveport Police say a man entered the Family Dollar Store in the 2000 block of Centenary Boulevard. The suspect fired two shots into the ceiling with a .40 caliber handgun and demanded money. After taking the cash, two more rounds were fired into the ceiling. The suspect fled in a newer model, silver, short, boxy vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5' 8", 130 lbs. wearing a black hoodie.
