The frontrunner in the Louisiana Governor's race made a campaign stop in Shreveport Tuesday.

Republican Bobby Jindal was in town to unveil his crimefighting plan.

It includes cracking down on gangs, drug dealers and keeping sexual predators away from children.

"In the state of Louisiana, somebody convicted of molesting a juvenile faces a one year minimum sentence. That's ridiculous and has got to change", said Jindal.

Jindal was recently endorsed by the Louisiana Sheriff's Association.
