A high flying adventure at Barksdale Air Force Base!
The annual Defenders of Liberty Air Show is being held this weekend.
Crowds of the young and old gathered at the base today to get an up close and personal look at the different planes on display.
Some spectators are seeing the show for the first time, while others have been before.
"I been here as a little boy, but this is the first one I've made it in a pretty good while. This is a way the tax dollars are spent so the American public can see just exactly, uh, what these guys are doing to help support our freedom," says spectator Eric Russell.
The show wraps up tomorrow.
Gates open at 9:00 a.m. and the show starts at ten.
Free parking is available on base and shuttles are available from First Baptist Church on Saturday and the Bossier Civic Center on Sunday.
