After a 8 hour manhunt, 24 year old Nicholas Johnson is behind bars.

Authorities say Johnson was arrested Saturday morning at a motel on Monkhouse Drive after trying to run over a member of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

The officer was trying to serve a Probation Warrant.

Johnson is charged with attempted first degree murder of a Law Enforcement Officer, Probation and Parole violation and several weapons and drug charges.

Two women were also arrested after authorities conducted a search of a house on Fredderick Street.

Officers found several guns and drugs including Cocaine, Marijuana and Esctasy.

In October of 2007, Johnson and his 9 year old nephew, Traveon Hunter had just returned from the store when a vehicle pulled up and fired shots.

Johnson was injured.

9 year old Traveon Hunter was killed.
