PART-TIME LIVE NEWS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
KTBS-3 Production
Department has an open position for a part-time live news technical
director. Main responsibilities include preparing and directing live
newscasts. Experience with studio cameras, character generators,
editing and audio mixing operations preferred. Ability to work flexible
hours a must. Satisfactory pre-employment drug test required. EOE.

ASSIGNMENTS EDITOR
Minimum three years experience preferred
with a college degree; excellent people-management, communication,
organizational and customer-service skills; sound news judgment and the
ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; must be
comfortable with the new technology of TV news. Responsible for
managing assignments; dealing with logistics; monitoring phones,
scanners, wires; maintaining local contacts and national news sources
for story ideas; reviews news releases; contributes to multiple
platforms, including the web site, newscasts, shooting and editing
video. A satisfactory pre-employment drug test and clear driving record
required. EOE.
